Add These Must-See Locations to Your List When You Attend a Conference in San Antonio!

We are so excited to welcome you back for in-person veterinary conferences! To help you get the most out of your trip, we put together a list of some of San Antonio’s top attractions.

1 – The San Antonio Riverwalk

Sip, Sup, and Stroll your way down the San Antonio Riverwalk! When you attend our veterinary conferences you can step directly from your hotel lobby onto the San Antonio Riverwalk.
Enjoy a meal at one of the many outdoor patios, sip a margarita, or simply take in the beautiful relaxing views as you walk! Not a fan of walking? Enjoy it all on a guided tour or dinner cruise down the river!

2 – The Japanese Tea Garden

A short 10-minute ride from the Riverwalk will land you in the tranquil and exquisite space known as the Japanese Tea Garden. An area filled with exotic plants, koi ponds, and waterfalls, this peaceful and elegant garden was transformed from a former rock quarry. Admission is free, which will save you plenty of money for tea or a snack at the tasty and tranquil on-site restaurant!

3 – The Alamo

San Antonio is home to one of the most well-known historical sites in the country – The Alamo. The centerpiece of our downtown, the Alamo is known as the location of one of the most famous battles in
US history – a battle that is said to have lasted only 20 minutes, as a small force stood and fought against an army of more than 3,000. Legendary figures Davy Crockett and James Bowie were killed in the battle, along with all the defenders of the Alamo. A cradle of Texas history, the Alamo must be on your list of sights to see!

4 – The Historic Pearl Brewery

If you are looking for unique shops and world-class cuisine, head down to The Pearl. Built amongst beautifully restored buildings and lush greenspace, this area is all about atmosphere and tasty dishes.
Reservations are highly recommended! For some spur of the moment fun, visit The Pearl in the evening for a free outdoor concert or stroll through the Farmers Market Saturday and Sunday mornings.
