A-FAST Track to Point of Care Ultrasound: From Imaging Technique to ‘Treatment Complete’
We return to the San Antonio River Walk for our annual in-person conference — and this year it’s going global. Global FAST, that is. Join us in person (or online) as we learn to use our ultrasounds for far more than cystocentesis. We’ll practice the step-by-step framework for AFAST, TFAST, and VETBlue, so you can systematically assess any patient for a variety of thoracic and abdominal lesions without needing to call in a specialist. Then we go further — to understand what we actually do for patients with effusion once we’ve diagnosed it. Follow case examples to identify the source and treat the conditions that cause it, including splenic masses, anaphylaxis, heart failure, neoplasia, and perforating foreign bodies. And for 18 lucky attendees (those who sign up first!), you’ll have the chance to add on a 4-hour hands-on training lab.
