In this new video series, we’re discussing the latest and greatest in feline antiviral therapies. Dr. Černá, an expert in FIP, reviews the pathogenesis, risk factors, and clinical presentation of feline enteric coronavirus (FECV) and feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Then, she’ll show us novel treatments, both currently available and still in development, and how to best use these tools. Join us in finally winning the battle against FIP!

Petra Černá
PhD, MRCVS, AFHEA, AdvCertFB
Dr. Petra Černá completed a Small Animal Internal Medicine residency at Colorado State University, USA in 2023. She graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Brno, Czech Republic in 2018 where she also obtained her PhD in 2023. She completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Vets Now Referral Hospital, Glasgow, UK in 2019 and Small Animal Medicine Internship at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, UK in 2020. Dr. Černá obtained an ISFM Advanced Certificate in Feline Behavior with Distinction in 2018 and has particular interest in feline medicine and is currently doing a PhD degree at Colorado State University in Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).
