To Cast or Not to Cast
This five-video series tackles all kinds of wound care questions - when to consider coaptation, stabilizing fractures, and what to do when that wound won’t close. With a team of surgical experts at the wheel, we’ll cover effective methods and risk management so you’re ready for the next “attacked by,” “hit by,” or “versus” case that calls in.

MEET THE SPEAKERS
Clara Goh
BVSc, MS, DACVS, Founding Fellow - Surgical Oncology
Clara earned her veterinary degree at Sydney University, Australia. She completed her postgraduate specialty training (rotating internship, surgical residency, and surgical oncology fellowship) at Colorado State University, where she currently holds a faculty position in small animal orthopedic surgery. Her clinical and research interests include cruciate disease, hip dysplasia, and minimally invasive techniques (arthroscopy, and fracture stabilization). Clara has devoted her professional career to student, resident, and DVM training and has been an invited speaker and instructor at numerous conferences and surgical labs throughout the US.
Sarah Marvel
DVM, MS, DACVS-SA, ACVS Fellow - MIS (SA Soft Tissue) and Surgical Oncology
Dr. Marvel received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 2003 and then went on to obtain her DVM from the University of Wisconsin in 2009. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery, and a residency in small animal surgery at Colorado State University. In 2014 she achieved board certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (DACVS-SA). Following her surgical residency, she completed fellowships in Surgical Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery (Small Animal Soft Tissue) at Colorado State University. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Soft Tissue Surgery at Colorado State University.
