Course Description

The majority of systemic fungal infections have respiratory involvement, but how can you tell what’s brewing in those chest rads?

Join us as Dr. Hanzlicek identifies suspicious presentations and diagnostic strategies for working up pulmonary and intranasal lesions. We’ll cover the top offenders causing diffuse and focal patterns on radiographs, and differentiate fungal organisms from neoplasia and other infections, using targeted antigen testing.

After this quick, one-hour course, you’ll understand exactly how to tell whether or not fungal disease might be a realistic differential, how to submit samples for fungal testing, and how to treat any of the systemic fungal infections that impact the respiratory tract.

Through this IntroVet® On-Demand Course, you'll earn 1 hour of RACE Approved CE. Upon successfully passing the assessment (quiz), you'll receive an instantly downloadable CE Certificate. Registration is free, thanks to sponsorship by MiraVista Diagnostic Laboratories!

What vets are saying

Trusted by 35,000+ veterinary professionals

★★★★★

The real-world tips and doses. The detail-oriented notes and slides to fall back on later so we didn't have to frantically scribble notes. Even the personalities and clear talent for teaching that both speakers possess. Wish I had them (and these lectures) in vet school!

★★★★★

The videos and case presentations were helpful to put all the info into practice. The links to study papers are also super helpful to help educate team members unable to attend and provide evidence based strategies for establishing or changes SOPs. YAY!!

★★★★★

I loved the session about avoiding/ correcting anesthetic complications. and how to identify issues early.
