COURSE DESCRIPTION
12 is the New 6
In this modern world, canine and feline patients have the ability to live longer than ever, but keeping aging pets moving can feel like an uphill battle. We’ve all seen what a chronic cruciate tear can do to muscle mass and mobility over time. We’ve all watched our poor CKD kitties struggle to reach their favorite resting spots, as their strength declines. How can we help slow the decline, despite the passage of time?
See how veterinary rehab specialists are helping old pets feel young again! We’ll break outside the box of NSAID-only OA protocols and consider a broader picture. In this quick 2-credit-hour session, learn to incorporate muscle condition scoring into our standard exams, implement rehab exercises and activity-based treatment, and evaluate commonly recommended supplements for improving joint health, muscle mass, and mobility in both dogs and cats.
After this two-hour video course, you’ll be overflowing with ideas and new tricks to try at work. We’re excited to offer this course for FREE, thanks to the support of Virbac!

MEET THE SPONSOR

IntroVet® is proud to partner with Virbac!
Virbac (an acronym of virology and bacteriology) is a French company dedicated exclusively to animal health from the inception. It was founded over 50 years ago, in 1968, by French veterinarian Pierre-Richard Dick. He wanted the company to have a strong focus on vaccines and medicines for companion animals, differentiating the fledgling company from large pharmaceutical companies that specialized in livestock back in those days. Now, for over 50 years, we have been shaping the future of animal health through the wide range of our innovative solutions provided to veterinarians, farmers and pet owners.
