To better reflect who we are today! We started LSVA in 2018 with the intention to host smaller, more comfortable conferences that did away with the stressors and shortcomings of large conventions. We hoped our programs would serve as a friendly and energizing meeting place for local veterinarians and technicians. We never imagined that colleagues from across the globe would one day find us and become an integral part of our community! 

And so, in 2023, we’re proud to welcome our community back for another year of learning, with a new name that reflects the spirit and intention of our community. We’re still the same people, with the same love for creating meaningful and introvert-friendly CE. And now we have a fun new name to match what’s always been at the heart of our programs! Welcome, IntroVets.

IntroVet™ is an introvert-friendly learning community, formerly known as Lone Star Veterinary Academy. Led by veterinarians, practice managers, and technicians, IntroVet™ offers RACE-approved CE programs for veterinary professionals who are dissatisfied with the typical loud and crowded conferences. Yes! IntroVet is an NYSE Approved Sponsor, for providing continuing education to veterinarians and veterinary technicians licensed in New York State.

Until February 5, 2023, you will still be able to access your in-progress on demand courses at www.lonestarvetacademy.com. Once you’ve completed your LSVA courses, please download your CE Certificate and save it for your records.

After February 5, 2023, we will create a new account at www.introvetce.com for every individual who has ever taken an on demand course with LSVA. We will notify you when your new account is created, so that you can update your password.

For those who create their own account in January 2023, we’ll just add access to your previously registered courses in your IntroVet™ Accounts.

During the month of January 2023, you’ll be prompted to create a new account at www.introvetce.com when registering for a new CE. Feel free to choose the same login information you used for LSVA!

After February 5, 2023, we will automatically transfer any remaining LSVA accounts for users who have not yet created their own accounts at www.introvetce.com. If we create an account for you, we will send you an email to notify you and ask you to reset your password.

If at any time you are unsure of your login, you can reset your password using ‘forgot password’ at www.introvetce.com/login. Your username will always be the email address you used to signup for your most recent course.

If you are struggling to remember your username or password, or not sure if you already have an account, please email us! We will typically respond the same day within a few hours, even on weekends. We won’t leave you in the lurch!

After January 5, 2023: 

Webinars (Live Virtual CE): You’ll receive your certificate by email, typically within 24 hours after completion of the program. (see example below)

On Demand Video Courses: You'll receive your certificate immediately by email, upon successful completion of the entire course and passing quiz score (70% or better). (see example below)

In person programs: The Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners requires that each attendee personally check in AND check out of the conference in order to receive credit for the CE hours attended. Please arrive early to sign-in and receive your registration packet. Then don’t forget to CHECK OUT before you leave! We will provide you with a printed certificate verifying your CE hours. According to TBVME regulations, IntroVet™ CANNOT mail your certificate if you forget to pick yours up! It must be obtained in person, before you leave.

Forms of Payment

Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted. Cash is NOT an accepted form of payment for registration. A $35 fee will apply for any returned (NSF) checks or declined credit cards. Approved payment will be required within 5 days, and your placement in the course will not be guaranteed until payment is received.

As of January 2021, RACE Providers like IntroVet™ are required to keep a record of each attendee’s license number and state. The AAVSB RACE requires that these records be maintained using a centralized database, known as RACEtrack®. Only license numbers and states of licensure are provided to the AAVSB through RACEtrack. No other personal data is shared.

Create your own RACEtrack account! RACEtrack® is a free service that allows veterinary professionals the chance to keep a record of all continuing education (CE) coursework. This system also easily communicates your CE hours earned to credentialing agencies (state veterinary boards) that may request records from you. VIEW WEBSITE

Currently, RACEtrack records are only required for veterinarians and technicians who are licensed to practice in the USA.

Yes! All our courses are submitted for RACE Approval, and we are an NYSED-approved sponsor of continuing education for New York-licensed veterinarians and technicians. Specific details of approvals and pending approvals can be found on each course information page.

Your IntroVet Academy Membership is not refundable. At the time of purchase you have the option to test-drive the program on a monthly basis before making a larger commitment such as semi-annual or annual.

Yes! Your membership plan will auto-renew. This will take place depending on your billing cycle date.

• If you signed up monthly, it will renew automatically every 30 days.
• If you signed up semi-annually, it will renew automatically every 6 months.
• If you signed up annually, it will renew every year or every 365 days.

Please note that, per AAVSB RACE guidelines, attendees must log in for at least a portion of a live CE program in order to receive a CE Certificate. You can log in from your computer, cell phone (by downloading the zoom app), or can call in by telephone to listen.

You will receive a link to view a recording of the webinar approximately 24 hours after the conclusion of the program, so you can catch up on anything you might want to revisit.

If you cannot attend any portion of the webinar live, you can opt to receive the recording and course notes without receiving a CE Certificate, or you can email us to request a refund. Please review our refund policy.

Safety
We will follow any COVID-related guidelines for health and safety which may be in effect at the time of the event, as set forth by the CDC and local officials. All event participants will be expected to do the same. We will keep you closely updated as the event approaches.

COVID-Related Event Modifications and Cancellations
If IntroVet™ cancels an Event, registrants will be offered a full refund, and no cancellation fees will apply. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an Event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer their registration to the same Event at the rescheduled date. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via email in accordance with the Cancellation Policy procedures within 14 days after the notice of cancellation is published by IntroVet™.

If you are registered to attend an in-person Event and you believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days of the start of the Event, you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of the start of the Event, or you are experiencing possible symptoms of COVID-19 as defined by the CDC, you must NOT attend in-person. For this reason, every in-person registration automatically includes the ability to watch every session virtually through Zoom.

IntroVet™ reserves the right to refuse/cancel registrations. If IntroVet™ refuses or cancels a registration, registrants will be offered a refund and no cancellation fee will apply, except when a registrant breaks the Code of Conduct (see below).

IntroVet™ reserves the right to cancel an Event due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances which would make the Event non-viable. If IntroVet™ cancels an Event, registrants will be offered a full refund, and no cancellation fees will apply. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an Event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer their registration to the same Event at the rescheduled date. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via email in accordance with the Cancellation Policy procedures within 14 days after the notice of cancellation is published by IntroVet™.

Yes, it is possible to receive a refund, by following the guidelines below.

Cancel in writing: To be eligible for a refund, a cancellation request must be received by us in writing at [email protected] prior to the deadline.Cancellation fee: All refunds requested prior to the deadline are subject to a $50 cancellation processing fee.

Refund deadline: Registration fees are non-refundable beginning on the 60th calendar day prior to the Event and thereafter. All requests for a refund must be received prior to the 60th calendar day prior to the Event in order to be eligible for a refund. Annual memberships are non-refundable beginning on the 60th calendar day prior to the first Event of the year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may pose, but there can be no exceptions to this policy.

No partial refunds: Annual members cannot be refunded for single Events or Courses.

No transfers: Registrations are non-transferable.

Refund processing: Refunds will be processed via check or returned to card utilized for payment during Registration. Refunds will be provided for the Registration Fee minus the Cancellation Fee. Please allow 60 days to receive your refund amount.

Any attendee found to be violating these rules and any other Event conduct rules instituted by IntroVet™ from time to time may be expelled from the Event without a refund, and/or refused attendance at future Events, at the discretion of IntroVet™, and potentially subject to other legal recourse.

We request information from you on our registration form. To register for one of our Events or to purchase an annual membership, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your registration or membership orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you. We will also use this information to contact you with reminders or other notices leading up to the event for which you have registered.

Through your registration and attendance of a continuing education Event organized by IntroVet™, you understand you may be photographed or recorded during the course of the Event. IntroVet™ reserves the right to use any photograph or video taken at any IntroVet™ event without the express written permission of those included in the photograph or video.  IntroVet™ may use photographs or videos for promotional purposes in publications or other media including without limitation brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, websites, television, etc.  Anyone attending an IntroVet™ Event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution must send a written notice and an identifying photograph to [email protected] (Your photo will be held in confidence by IntroVetTM).  Upon receipt of the notice, IntroVet™ will make commercially reasonable efforts to not include the requesting party in any promotional media.
