The majority of systemic fungal infections have respiratory involvement, but how can you tell what’s brewing in those chest rads? Join us as Dr. Hanzlicek identifies suspicious presentations and diagnostic strategies for working up pulmonary and intranasal lesions. We’ll cover the top offenders causing diffuse and focal patterns on radiographs, and differentiate fungal organisms from neoplasia and other infections, using targeted antigen testing.

After this quick, one-hour course, you’ll understand exactly how to tell whether or not fungal disease might be a realistic differential, how to submit samples for fungal testing, and how to treat any of the systemic fungal infections that impact the respiratory tract.
